The majority of sleep disorders have a common symptom in depression. Sleep disorders are closely associated with depression. Depression can be seen in patients with insomnia, obstructive sleep apnoea, narcolepsy, and restless leg syndrome. Both sleep and depression affect and are affected by each other and it is not confirmed which disorder is more dominant.
