Teeth grinding is a common side effect of stress. Teeth grinding will affect people in different ways but in all instances it will cause the wearing down of teeth among other symptoms. Reducing stress is one way to stop teeth grinding (also called bruxism). Eating a healthy diet is one way to reduce stress and eliminate bruxism.

Anxiety and stress related problems will lead to teeth grinding. Other habits that destoy the teeth are; brushing very hard, smoking, and nail biting.
